May 2026 updates: sharing, invites, and more

We’ve released a new set of Memolli updates across iOS, Android, and web focused on making your private food journal easier to share, organize, and customize.

Memolli is still built around the same idea: your restaurant, cafe, bar, coffee, wine, beer, and food reviews should belong to you. This release makes it simpler to remember what you tried, share the right reviews with the right people, and keep your personal recommendations organized without turning them into public ratings.

Share reviews inside Memolli

You can now share lists of reviews directly inside Memolli, in addition to the public link sharing that already exists. Invite friends to add their own reviews to a shared restaurant list, or keep a list view-only when you just want to share recommendations.

More control over reviews, places, and producers

Your Memolli library can now better reflect the way you think about restaurants, bars, cafes, roasters, wineries, breweries, and other places or makers.

You can add locations to manually entered producers, edit more details for places saved from Google Maps, and see a static location image when a location is available. It makes place and producer pages easier to recognize and scan at a glance.

Review templates are easier to shape, too. You can sort review questions, put your favorite prompts first, and move less-used questions out of the way so each review feels more natural to fill out.

Sort and filter your lists

Lists are more useful when you can quickly find what you are looking for. You can now sort and filter your lists, making it easier to browse saved restaurants, compare places you want to revisit, or organize recommendations for an upcoming trip.

This helps Memolli work better as a private alternative to Yelp, Google Maps lists, or scattered notes when you want a clean place to keep food and drink recommendations.

A simpler, smoother app experience

We improved the onboarding flow to help new users get started more quickly. We also made many UI simplifications and small enhancements throughout the app so common actions are easier to understand and faster to complete.

Alongside these updates, this release includes smaller bug fixes and performance improvements across iOS, Android, and web.
